Frequently questions and solutions in the using process of laptop battery

Question 1: the battery is installed several times, still can not boot?

Possible reasons:

1. The battery installed bad.

2. The battery did not use for a long-term.

3. Depth of discharge protected.

4. Other reasons.

Solution:

1. Carefully examined whether the computer interface and battery interface connection is correct.

2. Installed the battery, use the laptop ac adapter to charge for a while to activate the battery, disconnect the adapter in the off state, and re-boot.

Question 2: the battery is not used for some time, the power reduced or no electricity when re-use

Possible reasons:

1. No charge 50% to store, electricity itself is very small

2. Subject to the battery quality or the environmental impact, the battery power naturally ullage

3. Shelved for too long without regular charging and discharging of the battery which caused the natural decay.

Solution:

1. It can be normal used after 100% charge.

2. A normal phenomenon, can be used normally after recharge.

3. Please replace a new Dell XPS M1210 battery.

 

Question 3: battery shows charging have been completed (100%), but after AC power is disconnected, the battery can not normally supply and cause the computer crash.

Possible reasons: a. The working environment temperature is too high, causing the battery over-temperature protection. b. The battery had problems in the process of charging, leading to electricity display distortion.

Solution:

1. Turn off the computer, remove the battery for cooling and use in the normal indoor environment, the battery over-temperature protection can be automatically restored

2. Using the original battery to detect fault under the same conditions. If the original battery has no such problem, you need to contact after-sales service or local franchiser.

 

 

Question four: after install the battery, the laptop could work properly, and also be able to charge and discharge, but the hp PB991A battery information display are not complete, only shows parts of the information.

Possible reason:

Battery or laptop interface contact bad or the data exchange interface didn’t work

Solution:

replace the original battery, if it is the same fault, it is laptop or battery interface damaged, need to repair. If the failure eliminate, it is part of the battery output interface damaged, please contact the local franchiser or after-sales service to replace the battery.

Question 6: the computer automatically shuts down immediately after install the battery in the state with an adapter

Possible reason:

Battery failure, may be the interface short-circuit the battery 

Solution:

Remove the battery immediately, and do not try to install the battery again. Please contact the distributor to replace the battery
